• Usage Data: We collect anonymous data on how you interact with the App (e.g., features used, time spent) to improve stability and performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following specific purposes:

• To Provide the Service: To create, organize, and display your child’s timeline, memory feed, and journal entries.
• To Personalize the Experience: To organize your media chronologically and suggest relevant tags (e.g., "First Steps," "Birthday").
• AI-Generated Journals: We use your uploaded photos, videos, and milestone data to automatically draft journal descriptions, titles, and emotional tags.

4. Artificial Intelligence & Data Usage

We utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to analyze your media and generate text descriptions. Regarding your data and our AI:

• Service-Specific Processing: Your photos, videos, and child data are processed solely to generate content for you (such as video captions, journal entries, and search tags).
• No Training on User Data: We do NOT use your photos, videos, text entries, or personal data to train, fine-tune, or improve our general Artificial Intelligence models. Your data remains isolated and is never used to improve the AI for other users or third parties.

5. Children’s Privacy

We place the highest priority on protecting the privacy of children. Bloom respect the privacy of children under the terms of COPPA.

• Parental Direction: The App is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data regarding minors is provided explicitly by the parent or guardian for the purpose of maintaining a family record.
• Strict Usage: Information regarding minors (including photos and growth milestones) is used strictly to produce the AI journal and memory feed functionality requested by the parent. It is never sold to third parties or used for behavioral advertising.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We believe you should have complete control over your family's memories.

• Retention Policy: We retain your personal information, media, and journal entries only for as long as you maintain an active account with us. We do not retain data indefinitely if you are no longer a user.
• Right to Delete: You may delete your account at any time directly within the App settings.
• Immediate Removal: Upon your request to delete your account, all associated data—including photos, videos, journal text, and account info—is permanently removed from our servers and cloud storage. This process is irreversible.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your personal information and media stored on our cloud servers (Google Cloud Platform). While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party companies (such as cloud hosting providers) to facilitate our Service. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
